It has now been an entire week since I decided to quit smoking and I feel absolutely amazing. Here’s some of the things I’ve noticed since I quit.
- My energy levels have increased dramatically.
- I haven’t felt this good in 7 years!
- My concentration feels perfect.
- I can taste and enjoy all my food again.
- My skin looks alot healthier already.
- I don’t smell like cigarettes.
- I can actually save money.
- My eye sight is alot sharper
How I Quit
There’s no way that I’m ever going to pick up a cigarette again. If you’re like me and started at the age of 13 perhaps you can give up too. I found it extremely easy to give in smoking all it took was a little change of view. You need to realise that you weren’t old enough to know any better at the time but now you are and it’s time you stopped. I really hope I can help you stop smoking you deserve to feel like this too.
Learn To Quit
The first steps I took was to learn how to quit different things, for example I haven’t drank soda in a year and never will again (aspartame?) I always drink unflavoured natural spring water. Try learning how to give up things yourself that would be a small step in the right direction.
Alternate between routines
Smoking is a habit, you need to learn to change your habits a little bit from time to time. Don’t rush the process of giving up cigarettes you’ll only make the process more trouble than necessary. You will know when it’s the right time to quit smoking, it’ll just come to you.
Just give up
I would say the best day to give up would be on a Monday, because you’re probably programmed to think that it’s a new week.. new start. On that day, don’t smoke.. just don’t smoke.. don’t even think about it. It’s really easy.. it’s only a cigarette, it’s smoke.. on a stick.. you’re not dependent on it at all you’re just being fooled by the corporate market psychologists. I’ve never been easily programmable and it’s excellent, the amount of things I can do with that.
What’s this about Psychology?
Do a little research on Reverse Psychology and you’ll realise for yourself exactly why you haven’t bothered to quit. Reverse psychology can be defined as telling a person something that is the opposite of what you want them to do. Smoking is mainly a psychological experiment, it always has been and always will be as far as I’m concerned smoking isn’t addictive at all. Women never even used to smoke in America, it was taboo until the psychologists came into play and of course, won. The very same is happening with rap music ’smoke weed everyday’, I’m not entirely sure what the plan is here but I know now to follow the race, just to be safe :).

Sauerbraten is a free multiplayer/single player first person shooter, available for mac, linux and windows. Sauerbraten has great graphics and excellent gameplay, I’ve been addicted for 3 months now.
There are many game modes in Sauerbraten, my favourite is instagib: a one shot kill game mode where you win by ‘fragging’ as many of the other gamers as you can before the round is over. Another of my favourites is instactf, a one shot kill team game where your team has to capture usually 10 flags to win the game.
Sauerbraten has been built for speed rather than eyecandy(but the graphics are still amazing), there is rarely any lag when playing online because of this. Sauerbraten is also packed full of customizable options to ensure that you can control the game in the way that is most comfortable for you. So if you’re up for gaming online for free, then get Sauerbraten!!

I’ve been waiting for stickam.com to get new servers, it appears they’re finally taking up the challenge. Stickam.com will be down today from 6a.m until 12p.m (PST) while they migrate to a new data center. I do hope that this will be the end of the lag issues (I wasn’t impressed the last time they said they were getting new servers and the lag increased).

To look at it from a business point of view, I can understand that Stickam doesn’t want to fall victim to it’s own success by spending too much money: but Stickam doesn’t want to become a failure by not working on their product and thus gaining a bad reputation either.
I’m not going to rant here, but congratulations stickam on your new investment and I hope it pays off.
Advanced Video Communications Are Releasing A New Service :
AVC, creators of stickam.com are also releasing a new service, it’s called ‘payperlive.com’ and I’ve taken a preview of it. I’m going to see about requesting a beta invitation to hopefully blog about a few of the features at a later date. From the limited knowledge that I have so far payperlive allows users, radio stations, concerts etc to broadcast live shows and set a viewing price. (Stickam of course takes a cut of this) and they also charge for signup. I myself don’t see payperlive.com becoming successful anytime soon, there’s plenty of websites that let you broadcast for free and plenty of free shows for people to watch, unless it’s something extremely special who is going to pay to watch one of the streams on there?
Visit The Websites To See For Yourself :
If you don’t know what stickam is visit it here : http://www.stickam.com and AVC’s new project here http://www.payperlive.com.

Welcome to my blog, this is my first post and of course I should explain what is going on with this website.
This is a personal blog that reflects the authors opinions on a wide range of subjects. Of course you’re more than welcome to disagree with anything that I write in the future but that’s because we’re two different people. I’d love you to disagree because that gives you the urge to write a comment and debate with me and the nerd within me loves to participate.
If you were expecting to meet a genius here, then you’ve come to the right wrong place. I do have alot of interests though and I hope you find what I write interesting. Have a good day!
